Seven Eagle drydocking at Tuas Yard, Singapore

The major scope involves the renewal of the deck steel in way of the main deck and ballast tanks. Primary activities during the drydocking include shipside blasting and painting, overhauling of thrusters and thrusters motors, as well as the ship’s ram luffing deck auxiliary crane and boom hoist deck main crane. Another major job done was the renewal of the abandonment and recovery winch with 3000 metres wire rope and the load testing of the tillable laying system utilising a 110t barge and solid weight. This is a special equipment for laying of cables in the deep sea as this system is equipped to spool large cables from the vessel.
