Industry recognition for the TRANSEC-Compliant Network Architecture and its enhanced transmission security capabilities
Herndon, Va., May 8, 2019 – iDirect Government (iDirectGov), a leading provider of satellite communications to the military and government, today announced that it has been awarded the Mobile Satellite Users Association (MSUA)’s 2019 Annual Mobility Innovation Award (Top Cybersecurity Solution) for its enhanced transmission security (TRANSEC)-compliant network architecture. The MSUA’s annual Satellite Mobility Innovation Awards which celebrate top industry innovators, bears testament to TRANSEC-Compliant Network Architecture’s ability in exceeding the requirements outlined by the U.S. government, while maintaining the quality of service needed to support voice, video and data over a satellite link.
“We are pleased to be honored with this award as our Evolution 4.2 software is used in the fight against cybersecurity attacks,” said John Ratigan, President of iDirect Government. “Internet, voice, data and video communications can make the difference in mission success for highly mobile forces and government agencies. Our TRANSEC-compliant network architecture exceeds the U.S. government’s requirements, while ensuring the service quality needed to support the mission at hand. TRANSEC in the field helps to combat threats for military and government users whenever and wherever they are located throughout the world.”
To mitigate cyber threats, iDirectGov provides enhanced TRANSEC capabilities with the Evolution 4.2 software, building upon the company’s existing two-way TRANSEC. Evolution 4.2 delivers ultra-enhanced features in performance, efficiency and security in support of the company’s defense and government customers.
